Hiya Baroda/ Vadodara,
Am new to this Sanskari nagari 'Vadodara', been recently shifted from a grand metro-city but ain't I glad for this change ? Since the day I have landed here, I am loving every moment of my time spent. After residing for donkey's years in a megalopolis where one has to brave crowds and traffic snarls everywhere, long queues and longer hours of commute...every location seems sooooo far away...administrative offices, educational institutions, theatres etc living in a quaint city like Vadodara seems so comfortable. Everything here seems to be within reach . One just needs to invest in a smart li'l scooty and yoooooooooooo , there u go negotiating all the roads by yourself , ofcourse takin care not to hit the holy cows n buffaloes ruminating all over the place. People are very God-fearing and religious....they are fun to be with....practically all festivals are celebrated here with equal enthusiasm. There is a typical Baroda-spirit which kinda pulls even the gloomiest person ,to enjoy the festive season.
More on this happy spirited city later......
